Editors note:
My article was written on the ever growing problem of water drought. Specifically in the western half of the United States water seems to be growing more valuable then gold. My article focuses on why they are caused and how we may not even realize we are wasting. Lastly it explains how we can begin to fix the problem through simple but very important ways.

About the author:
My name is Ryan Kelsey I am 28 years old and live in Midvale Utah. I am originally from Las Vegas, NV born and raised. I moved to Utah for a change when I was 18 and have been here ever since. I met my wife at church and we have been married for a little under 3 years. Currently I work part time and go to school full time pursuing a degree in Business Administration. Things I love are to be outdoors on my mountain bike or not and spending time at home with family.
I chose my topic on water conservation because it is an important issue and it is becoming more important every day. Also because without water we can not sustain life and that is why it has become somewhat of a political issue as well.
